Warranty Policy

1-year limited hardware warranty from the date of original purchase, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
What's Covered
- Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship
- GNSS receiver failure under normal operating conditions
- Battery defects (capacity below 80% of rated within warranty period)
- Radio / 4G / RC broadcast module failure
- Firmware issues caused by OTA updates pushed by L-Base
What's Not Covered
- Physical damage from drops, impacts, or crushing
- Water damage beyond IP68 spec (deeper or longer than rated)
- Unauthorised modification, disassembly, or third-party repair
- Non-compatible accessories or power sources exceeding specifications
- Cosmetic wear that does not affect functionality
- Natural disasters, lightning, or extreme conditions beyond product specs
- Normal battery degradation over time
Warranty Service Process
1. Email support@l-base.com with your order number and description of the issue.
2. We may request photos, diagnostic logs, or a video demonstrating the issue.
3. If confirmed as a warranty defect, we will at our discretion:
- Repair and return (estimated 10-15 business days)
- Replace with a new or refurbished unit
- Refund if repair or replacement is not feasible
4. We cover shipping costs for warranty returns.
Out-of-Warranty Repairs
After the 1-year warranty, we offer paid repairs at a flat fee. Contact support for a quote.
Australian Consumer Law
This warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. For major failures, you are entitled to a replacement or refund. For minor failures, you are entitled to have the product repaired in a reasonable time.
